La mia collezione di Barbie 2a parte/ My Barbie collection part 2

Salve, non sono Troy McClure, ma forse vi ricorderete di me per questo post di qualche tempo fa sulla riscoperta delle Barbie della mia infanzia. Oggi, come avevo promesso nel post precedente, voglio presentarvi i vari playset della mia collezione. Dato che alcuni di essi mi sono stati regalati quando ero molto piccola e non ricordo in che ordine, ho deciso di seguire quello cronologico di uscita dei vari set.

Hi, I'm not Troy McClure, but you may remember me for this post from a while ago on the rediscovery of my childhood's Barbie dolls. Today, as I promised in my previous post, I want to talk about the various playsets in my collection. Given that I received some of them when I was very young and do not remember in what order, I decided to follow the chronological output of the various sets.

Dream Cottage 1983

La mia prima casa di Barbie! Regalo di compleanno da parte dei miei nonni quando avevo forse 4 o 5 anni (di sicuro non era l'83, visto che non ero ancora nata), nonostante ci abbia giocato tantissimo è ancora in buone condizioni: si sono solo scassati un pò gli agganci delle ringhiere della terrazza, ma per il resto è perfetta. Curiosità: ho sempre usato il montavivande (nella foto non si vede, ma si attaccava a una delle colonne) come ascensore, trovavo assurdo che la gente dovesse levitare per salire al piano superiore, vista l'assenza di scale XD

My first Barbie house! Birthday gift from my grandparents when I was maybe 4 or 5 years  (certainly not in 1983, since I was not born yet), although I played a lot with it, it is still in good condition: the terrace railings junctions are just a bit damaged, but the rest is perfect. Curiosity: I've always used the dumbwaiter (you can't see it in the photo, but it was attached to one of the columns) like an elevator, I found it absurd that people should levitate to go upstairs, since there are no stairs XD

Workout Center 1987

Probabilmente i miei genitori, all'epoca ancora presi dalla mania per il body building, devono aver pensato: "Quale modo migliore per crescere una bimba sportiva e amante del fitness, di regalarle la palestra di Barbie? " Non ha funzionato. Non ne vado fiera ma, nonostante il messaggio subliminale contenuto nel dono di questo playset, sono pigra come un gatto ciccione. Comunque l'armadietto l'ho usato tantissimo, era l'unico armadio di Barbie che avevo!

Probably my parents, at that time still in the middle of a craze for body building, must have thought, "What better way to grow a child lover of sports and fitness, to give her Barbie's gym?" It did not work. I'm not proud of this, but despite the subliminal message contained in the gift of this playset, when it comes to sports, I'm lazy as a fat cat. However, I used the locker a lot, it was the only Barbie closet I had!

Western Fun/ Sun Charm Motor Home 1989

La mia prima auto di Barbie! Questo playset purtroppo è in condizioni pietose, ci ho giocato tantissimo (è stato forse il primo che ho ricevuto) e si vede: gli adesivi sono tutti rovinati e molte parti non si possono più agganciare (una panca, la scaletta e una parte del pavimento) :( però i pezzi ci sono ancora tutti.

My first Barbie car! Unfortunately this playset is in extremely poor conditions, I've played a lot with it (it was probably the first one I received) and you can see it: the stickers are all ruined and many parts can no longer be attached (a bench, the ladder and part of the floor ) :( but I still have all the pieces.

Sun Runner 1989

Altro pezzo della serie Sun Charm/ Western Fun (a mia madre dev'essere piaciuta molto, voleva regalarmi anche la Barbie di questa serie, ma io preferii un altro modello), ricordo che l'avevo chiamata Camilla e sospetto che sia all'origine della mia passione per i cavalli palomini (imprinting?). Ho ancora tutti gli accessori, anche se alcune delle decorazioni sulla sella non si attaccano più bene.

Another piece from Sun Charm / Western Fun series (my mother should have really liked it, she wanted to buy me also the doll from this series, but I preferred another model), I remember that I had named her Camilla and I suspect that she is the origin of my passion for palomino horses (imprinting?). I still have all the accessories, even if some of the decorations on the saddle are broken.

Wet'n'Wild Water Park 1989

Uno dei playset più vecchi e più amati della mia collezione: ci giocavo tutte le estati in giardino (e solitamente impiegavo una buona mezz'ora a capire come collegare correttamente i vari tubicini dei giochi d'acqua...). Dato che non avevo abbastanza costumi da bagno per Barbie e tutta la sua tribù di amici e parenti, mamma mi aveva fatto ad uncinetto un intero set di costumi per tutti, inclusi Ken e Skipper.

Nonostante sia stata molto usata, è ancora in ottime condizioni, mi mancano solo due sedie del tavolo perché si erano rotte.

One of the oldest and most loved playsets  of my collection: I used to play with it every summer in the garden (and usually it took me a good half hour to figure out how to correctly connect the various tubes of the water games ...). Since I did not have enough swimsuits for Barbie and all her tribe of friends and family, Mom crocheted me a whole set of swimsuit for everyone, including Ken and Skipper.

Despite beingused a lot, it is still in excellent condition, I miss only two chairs of the table because they were broken.

Pink Magic kitchen and table 1991

(Questi mi sono stati regalati separatamente, ma dato che non ho trovato foto singole né di uno né dell'altro, li ho riuniti). Per prima ho ricevuto la cucina, nota in famiglia come "La cucina americana di Barbie" perché mi è stata portata come souvenir dal viaggio di nozze in USA di mio zio quando avevo 4 anni. Anche questa, come il camper Sun Charm, è stata molto usata ed è piuttosto malridotta: lo sportello del forno c'è ancora, ma non quello del microonde e l'adesivo con le piastrelle è tutto strappato (e ho masticato una delle pentole, errori di gioventù...).

Il tavolo invece è decisamente messo meglio: gli accessori ci sono tutti, sedie comprese (che non si vedono nella foto). Nel caso non lo sapeste, il centro tavola ruota su sé stesso tramite un pulsante nella base e potete scegliere se servire pollo arrosto con verdure oppure torta e dolcetti vari.

(I have been given these two sets separately, but since I did not find individual photos nor of one nor of the other, I've gathered them in the same paragraph). First I received the kitchen, known in my family as "The American Barbie kitchen" because it was brought to me by my uncle, as a souvenir from his honeymoon in the USA, when I was 4 years old. This one also has been widely used and it is quite damaged: the oven door is still there, but not the microwave one and the sticker with the tiles is all torn (and I chewed one of the pots, youthful mistake ...).

The table instead is in a better state: the accessories are all there, including the chairs (you can not see in the picture). In case you did not know, the center of the table rotates via a button on the base and you can choose to serve roasted chicken with vegetables or cake and cupcakes.

Ribbons & Roses bed 1991

Mentre Barbie dormiva in questa soffice meraviglia (il fiocco sulla testiera è fosforescente!), alle sue sorelle toccavano letti fatti con il Lego (chissà che mal di schiena!) (avevo solo questo letto).

While Barbie used to sleep in this soft wonder (the bow on the headboard is fluorescent!), her sisters had Lego bricks beds (what a backache!) (I had only this bed).

Dough Kitchen 1993

AMAVO questo playset, potevo passare ore a modellare mini cibi di plastilina glitterata (cosa che faccio ancora oggi, solo che sono passata al Fimo ^_^), né Barbie né i suoi amici si sono mai chiesti perché tutti i loro pasti fossero viola, fucsia o gialli e ricoperti di brillantini XD

Ancora in ottima condizioni, a parte la plastilina che si è seccata col tempo, il resto c'è tutto.

I LOVED this playset, I could spend hours modeling glittery clay mini foods (which I'm still doing today, I only switched to Fimo ^ _ ^), neither Barbie nor her friends have ever wondered why all their meals were purple, pink or yellow and covered with glitter XD

Still in very good conditions, I do not miss anything, apart from the clay that has dried over time.

Mini Van 1994

Questo aveva tonnellate di accessori da cucina e da campeggio(che ho ancora tutti) e il baule diventava un barbecue, altro che Pimp my Ride!

This had tons of kitchen and camping accessories (and I still have all of them) and the trunk turns into a barbecue, better than Pimp my Ride!

Dream House 1995

"Se impari ad andare in bicicletta ti compriamo il Palazzo dei Sogni di Barbie." E così fu. (Questo aveva pure l'ascensore funzionante!)

"If you learn to ride a bike we will buy you Barbie's Dream Palace." And so it was. (This one had even a working elevator!)

So much to do! kitchen 1995

Ricordo che scelsi questo playset personalmente la prima volta che mi portarono nel paese delle meraviglie, ovvero lo spaccio Mattel di Oleggio Castello: c'era talmente tanta roba che non sapevo cosa scegliere! Col senno di poi, posso dire che due cucine erano più che sufficienti per Barbie, e non c'era bisogno di prenderne una terza quando le sue sorelle continuavano a dormire sul Lego, ma questa aveva il frigo! E tantissimi accessori tra pentole e cibi in miniatura (ma principalmente il frigo!).

Questo era l'ultimo, ma se non siete ancora stanchi di scorrere immagini nella pagina, vi lascio con una carrellata di alcuni dei fashion pack della mia collezione, non sono tutti ma per ora sono riuscita ad identificare solo questi.

I remember that I chose this playset personally the first time I was led in Wonderland, or Mattel factory store in Oleggio Castello: there was so much stuff I did not know what to choose! In hindsight, I can say that two kitchens were more than enough for Barbie, and there was no need to take a third when her sisters were still sleeping on Lego, but this one had a fridge! And lots of accessories, including pots and miniature foods (but mainly the fridge!).

This was the last, but if you are not tired of scrolling through images on the page, I leave you with a round up of some of the fashion pack in my collection, they are not all but for now I was able to identify only those.

 

Saldi estivi 2013: aspettative irrealistiche/ Summer sales 2013: unrealistic expetations

Quest'anno non ho davvero la più pallida idea di cosa posso aspettarmi di trovare ai saldi. La mia totale ignoranza nel campo della moda attuale è dovuta al fatto che nelle ultime tre stagioni, un pò per gli impegni universitari, un pò perché il mio budget per i vestiti è sempre più ridotto, non sono andata quasi mai in centro a girare per negozi, anzi, quando mi toccava andare a Torino per l'università mi auto imponevo di ignorare le vetrine, per la serie "occhio non vede, cuore (e portafogli) non duole".

Ma ora sono arrivati i saldi estivi e, nonostante io continui a non navigare nell'oro, mi piacerebbe fare qualche acquisto, soprattutto perché negli ultimi mesi i miei gusti in fatto di vestiti sono cambiati, e dopo tante riflessioni e ripensamenti, sto svendendo gran parte del mio guardaroba lolita (non sto proprio quittando, qualcosa ho tenuto, è solo che con il lolita canonico non mi ci vedo più...), quindi il mio armadio si è un pò svuotato e avrei bisogno di qualcosa di nuovo.

In particolare, nelle mie fantasie più estreme ed irrealistiche (tanto so già che non troverò nulla o quasi di questa lista...) vorrei trovare:

This year I really don't have a clue about what I can expect to find during summer sales. My total ignorance about current fashion is due to the fact that in the last three seasons I almost never went downtown for shopping because I was incredibly busy with school and with a very small budget for clothes.
But now summer sales are here and, although I'm still not swimming in money, I'd like to shop for something new, especially because in the last few months my taste for clothes has changed, and after much reflections and rethinking, I'm selling off a large part of my lolita wardrobe (I'm not really quitting, I'm still keeping some pieces, it's just that I don't see myself in canon lolita outfits anymore), so my closet is a bit emptied and I need something new.
Particularly, in my most extreme and unrealistic fantasies (I know that I probably won't find anything in this list) I dream to find:

Black Tulle skirt by Ililily

Una gonna morbida a strati di tulle o organza nera che arrivi sopra il ginocchio o almeno a metà coscia (mi sono accorta che le gonne loli mi abbassano troppo, mentre le mini mi fanno le gambe e i fianchi troppo grandi, l'ideale sarebbe una via di mezzo tra le due lunghezze...).

A soft layered tulle skirt in black, long just over the knee or at least to mid-thigh (I noticed that lolita skirts make me look too short, while miniskirts make my legs and hips look too large, the ideal would be somewhere between these two lenghts).

Galaxy leggings by Sheinside

Un paio di leggings a stampa galattica, mi pare di averli intravisti da Calzedonia quest'inverno, ma la stampa non mi era piaciuta molto, chissà se riesco a trovare delle alternative...

A pair of galaxy leggings, I've seen them at Calzedonia this winter, but I didn't like the print very much, maybe I could find them from other brands...

messenger bag by Eastpak

Un nuovo tascapane Eastpak, quello che ho adesso l'ho usato quasi ogni giorno per 5 anni e ormai è decisamente usurato. Mi piacerebbe trovare in saldo a un buon prezzo uno dei due modelli qui sopra, ma la vedo dura visto che il prezzo pieno è 57€ (sarebbe comunque un buon investimento, vista la qualità delle borse, però è decisamente fuori dal mio budget ^_^).

A new Eastpack messenger bag, the one I currently have has been used almost everyday for 5 years and now it's quite worn out. I would like to find at a good price one of the two styles in the picture above, but it won't be easy, since the full price is 57€ (it would still be a good investment, given the quality of the bags, but it is definitely out of my budget ^_^).

Vintage sailor dress from Ebay

Un abito in stile marinaro che non sembri troppo un costume di Halloween sexy o una divisa scolastica giapponese (come il 95% dei risultati se digito "vintage sailor dress" su google, la vedo dura trovarlo...). L'anno scorso ne ho visto uno molto carino da Promod, rosso con la gonna a ruota e un motivo di piccole ancore bianche, però quando sono arrivati i saldi è sparito :(

A nautical/sailor dress that does not look too much like a sexy Halloween costume or a japanese school uniform (like the 95% of the results of typing "vintage sailor dress" on google, it will be hard finding it ...). Last year I saw a very nice one at Promod, red with a small white anchors pattern and a flared skirt, but I couldn't find it again during sales :(

Pastel sneakers by Adidas

Un bel paio di scarpe da ginnastica colorate. Queste mi servono abbastanza urgentemente perché le Vans che ho preso ai saldi invernali (perché mi si erano distrutte le scarpe precedenti dopo 4 anni di servizio) stanno già cadendo a pezzi! Per fortuna le ho prese proprio alla fine dei saldi ed erano gli ultimi numeri, quindi le ho pagate solo 18€, però il prezzo di listino era 65€, ma la qualità è davvero pessima!

A Febbraio quando ho preso le Vans ricordo di aver visto dei modelli di Adidas Dragon e Gazelle molto belli con colori pastellosi, all'epoca erano a prezzo pieno essendo la  nuova collezione primaverile,  magari ora riesco a trovarle a meno...

A nice pair of pastel colored sneakers. I need these quite urgently because the Vans I bought during winter sales (because my earlier shoes were destroyed after 4 years of service) are already falling apart! Luckily I got them during the last sales with a heavy discount (I paid them only 18€,while the full price was 65€) but their quality is really bad!

In February when I bought the Vans I remember seeing some Adidas Gazelle and Dragon with very beautifulpastel colors, at the time they were at full price because they belong to the new spring collection, maybe now I can find them at a lower price...

Lavender jeans by Hudson

Questa primavera, in uno dei miei rari sopralluoghi nei negozi, ho visto da H&M dei jeans lilla delavè (simili a quelli della foto) davvero belli ed ero anche intenzionata a prenderli visto che non costavano troppo (24€), peccato che quando sono tornata la settimana dopo con più soldi avevano cambiato la collezione e non li ho trovati più! Spero ritornino ora coi saldi...

This spring, during one of my rare visits to the stores, I saw a very nice pair of delavè jeans in lilac (similar to those in the picture above) and I was determined to buy them because they weren't too costly (24 €), but when I went back to the store a week later to purchase them, they had changed the collection displayed and I couldn't find them anymore! I hope they will come back now during sales...

Glossy bag by Camomilla

Una borsa nera carina (preferibilmente lucida, con tracolla e ragionevolmente spaziosa) che vada bene sia in occasioni un pò eleganti che per tutti i giorni. Quella in foto costa un rene e non l'avrò mai, però mi piacerebbe trovare qualcosa di simile a prezzi più bassi.

Se il caldo non mi uccide prima, verso la fine della settimana vorrei tentare la fortuna e fare un giro nei negozi a Torino, vi terrò aggiornati ;)

A cute black bag (preferably glossy, with shoulder strap and reasonably spacious) that fits both with quite formal outfits and every day casual ones. The one in the picture costs an arm and a leg and I will never have it, but I'd like to find something similar at lower prices.

If the heat does not kill me first, I want to go shopping in Turin at the end of the week, I'll keep you updated ;)

Coconut love

Non so se ve l'ho già detto oppure no, ma io ADORO il cocco, sia per il sapore che per il profumo, e oggi voglio condividere con voi alcuni dei miei prodotti "coccosi" preferiti :)

I don't know if I've already told  you or not, but I LOVE coconut, both its taste and its smell, and today I want to share with you some of my favourite coconut flavoured products :)

- Succo Cocco e Ananas Rauch Bravo Premium/ Coconut and Pineapple Juice by Rauch Bravo Premium

Ovviamente uno dei miei cocktail preferiti è la Pina Colada, ma dato che in generale non amo molto l'alcool, preferisco ordinare, quando è possibile, la sua versione analcolica, che è praticamente succo d'ananas e cocco. Succo che al di fuori dei locali non è facilissimo da reperire, però già da qualche anno nei supermercati abbastanza forniti si possono trovare i succhi ananas e cocco della Rauch (tra l'altro questa marca fa un sacco di succhi buonissimi, mi piacciono molto anche quelli al mango e alla mela verde). Ho provato anche la versione in bottiglia di plastica della stessa marca, ma questa versione in cartone è molto più buona, la "sorella" in bottiglia è un pò troppo zuccherosa e stucchevole, mentre questa, secondo me, ha il giusto equilibrio di sapori.

Obviously one of my favorite cocktails is Pina Colada, but since I don't love alcoholics in general, I prefer to order, when possible, its non-alcoholic version, which is pretty much pineapple and coconut juice. This flavour of juice is not easy to find, but in the last few years it made its appearance in a lot of big supermarkets under the German brand Rauch (among other things this brand produces a lot of delicious juices, I like mango and green apple ones too). I also tried plastic bottled version of this juice by the same brand, but I like the carton version more: its "sister" in the bottle is too sugary and cloying, while the carton one, in my opinion, has the right balance of flavors.

- Dolcetti al cocco/ Coconut meringues

Questi dolcetti morbidi (a volte li chiamano anche "meringhe al cocco") sono facilissimi, veloci ed economici da preparare, inoltre ho notato che di solito piacciono molto serviti col caffè anche a chi non ama il cocco, perciò sono perfetti se volete fare un figurone a una cena ma avete poco tempo a disposizione. 

Sul web si trovano mille ricette più o meno simili, io ho provato questa (che è pure senza glutine) e posso assicurarvi che sono spariti in un batter d'occhio ;) Biscotti morbidi al cocco

Se invece non avete proprio tempo o voglia di cucinare di solito si trovano già confezionati e a buon prezzo in quasi tutti i supermercati (non ho in mente una marca particolare perché ce ne sono tantissime e di solito sono tutte abbastanza buone)

These soft cookies are very easy, fast and cheap to make, and usually they are appreciated even by people who don't love coconut (try serving them with coffee), so they are perfect if you want to make a great impression at a dinner party but have little time for cooking.

On the web there are thousands of recipes more or less similar, I have tried this (which is also gluten-free) and I can assure you that they were gone in a blink of an eye ;) coconut meringues

If you don't have time or don't like cooking, they are easy to find at affordable prices in most supermarkets (I don't have a particular brand in mind, because there are so many and they are usually all pretty good)

- Cioccolato bianco con cocco e al latte con meringhe al cocco Ritter Sport/ White chocolate with coconut and milk chocolate with coconut meringues by Ritter Sport

Potrei mangiare questi due tipi di cioccolato fino a scoppiare, sono favolosi *_* il primo si trova tranquillamente in ogni supermercato un pò grande, mente il secondo ahimè era un'edizione speciale natalizia, e non sono nemmeno sicura di averlo visto qui in Italia, infatti io l'ho scoperto (e ne ho fatto scorta, con la scusa del souvenir per mamma che adora il cioccolato come me XD) quando ero a Berlino, chissà se il prossimo Natale arriverà anche da noi...

I can never have enough of these two types of chocolate, they're fabulous *_* The first is easy to find in every supermarket, but the second, sadly, was a special edition for Christmas, and I'm not even sure it arrived here in Italy, in fact I found it (and stocked it up with the excuse of a souvenir for mom who loves chocolate like me XD) when I was in Berlin, I wonder if the next Christmas it will be sold even here...

- Crema spalmabile al cocco Lidl Deluxe/ Coconut spread by Lidl Deluxe

Altro prodotto in edizione limitata (peeerchèèèè?!?) che adoro, è comparsa al Lidl nel periodo di Pasqua ed è letteralmente andata a ruba: qui da me è finita nel giro di due giorni e non l'hanno più rimessa. L'unico glorioso vasetto che sono riuscita ad accaparrarmi rimarrà sempre nel mio cuore...

Come dicevo prima, per me il cocco non è solo una delizia da gustare ma anche un profumo paradisiaco, eccovi quindi un paio di prodotti di bellezza all'aroma di cocco che ho apprezzato particolarmente:

Another limited edition product (whyyyyy?!?) I love. It was sold at Lidl over the Easter period, but it literally disappeared  within two days and never came back on shelves. The only glorious jar that I was able to catch will always remain in my heart...

As I said before, for me, coconut is not only a delight to taste but also a heavenly scent, so here are a few coconut scented beauty products that I particularly appreciated:

- Balsamo al cocco Jacklon/ Coconut hair conditioner by Jacklon

Ho scoperto questo balsamo per caso in un minuscolo discount dove non vado quasi mai e me ne sono innamorata! Non solo ha un profumo buonissimo (ho provato altre marche di shampoo o balsami al cocco e di solito profumano poco o hanno uno strano odore chimico, questo invece sembra più naturale), ma mi lascia i capelli morbidissimi e lisci quasi come se li avessi piastrati! Inoltre è decisamente economico: il flacone da 500ml costa circa 1.20€. L'unica pecca è che, almeno nella mia zona, non si trova dappertutto, finora l'ho trovato solo alla Ekom e alla Coop.

I discovered this conditioner by chance in a tiny discount where I rarely go and I immediately fell in love with it! Not only has a good fragrance (I have tried other brands of coconut shampoos and conditioners and they usually have a strange chemical smell, however this seems more natural), but it alsomake my hair soft and smooth as if they're plated ! It is also very cheap: the 500ml bottle costs about 1.20 €. The only flaw is that, at least in my area, it's difficult to find, so far I've only found it at Ekom and Coop.

- Acqua profumata Cocco e Cannella "La voglia matta" Perlier/ Coconut and Cinnamon scented water by "La voglia matta" Perlier

Trovo che le acque profumate di questa linea della Perlier siano un buon compromesso tra profumo e semplice deodorante: infatti restano addosso abbastanza a lungo senza creare l'effetto "nuvola di profumo" poiché hanno un'intensità piuttosto discreta che non ammazza chi ti sta intorno. Il prezzo è abbastanza buono, il flacone costa circa 9€ ma dura tantissimo perché ne basta una spruzzata per volta. Ho provato questo al cocco e cannella tempo fa e mi è piaciuto molto, profumavo come una torta XD un'altra fragranza di questa linea che mi è piaciuta (e sto usando ancora adesso) è lampone e legno di rosa.

I find that this line of scented waters by Perlier are a good compromise between perfume and simple deodorant: in fact the scent remain on body long enough without creating the effect of  a "cloud of perfume" because it is rather discreet that does not kill those around you . The price is quite good, a bottle costs about € 9, but it lasts a lot because you need only a single splash at a time. I tried this one with coconut and cinnamon a while ago and I liked it a lot, I smelled like a cake XD another fragrance of this line that I like (and I'm still using now) is raspberry and rose wood.

- Bagnoschiuma Malizia al cocco/ Coconut bath foam by Malizia

Anche questo si trova abbastanza facilmente e a prezzi ragionevoli (sui 2-3€ il flacone da 1000ml) nei supermercati. Lo preferisco rispetto ad altri bagnoschiuma al cocco perché il profumo, come sopra, è più naturale e poi dura tantissimo dopo la doccia :)

Again, this is quite easy to find at reasonably prices (about 2-3€) in supermarkets. I prefer it over other coconut bath foams because the scent, as above, is more natural and it lasts a lot after the shower :)

Stracciatella Cheesecake

Estate: tempo di cheesecakes!
Era da un pò che non preparavo dolci perché Dani è a dieta, ieri sera però abbiamo fatto entrambi uno strappo alla regola in occasione di una cena tra colleghi e amici organizzata da sua madre, per la quale ho preparato una cheesecake alla stracciatella!
Per prepararla sono partita da una ricetta trovata tempo fa online (purtroppo ho perso il link del sito), però mentre preparavo la crema mi sono resa conto che c'erano diversi errori nelle dosi degli ingredienti, così per rimediare ho cominciato con l'aggiustare le dosi, aggiungere ingredienti...e alla fine è uscita una torta completamente diversa dalla ricetta originale! Comunque, a giudicare dalla velocità con cui è sparita dai piatti, direi che ho azzeccato le dosi e gli ingredienti giusti!
Per la gioia del vostro palato, ecco qua la ricetta riveduta e corretta:

Ingedienti per la base:
300gr di biscotti Digestive (o Gran Cereale se preferite una base più croccante)
100gr di burro
50gr di cioccolato fondente

Ingredienti per la crema:
500gr di ricotta
300gr di Philaldelphia (va bene sia light che normale)
5-6 cucchiai di zucchero semolato
1/2 bicchiere di latte (occhio a non metterne di più che se no la crema diventa troppo liquida ed è da buttare, parlo per esperienza :-/)
4-5 fogli di gelatina (dipende da quanto sono grandi, se usate la Paneangeli  usatene 5 perché sono più piccolini)
1 busta di vanillina
2-3 manciate di scaglie di cioccolato fondente (potete comprarle già fatte in scatola oppure grattuggiare una tavoletta di cioccolato)

Ingredienti per la glassa:
100gr di cioccolato fondente
30gr di burro
1-2 manciate di scaglie di cioccolato fondente (facoltativo)

Preparazione:
Per cominciare prendete uno stampo per torte a cerniera (da 24 o 26cm) e ritagliate dalla carta forno un cerchio grande come la base dello stampo, sulla quale andrete poi a posizionarlo (non è necessario imburrare o foderare di carta anche i lati della tortiera, tanto la crema non si appiccica).
In un pentolino sciogliete a bagnomaria il burro, nel frattempo con il mixer prima riducete in polvere i biscotti, poi tritate finemente il cioccolato ed infine uniteli in una ciotola. Quando il burro è completamente fuso versatelo su biscotti e cioccolato, mescolate bene e, quando il composto è omogeneo, stendetelo in modo uniforme sul fondo della tortiera, pressando e livellando bene con un cucchiaio, dopo di che mettete lo stampo in frigo a raffreddare per circa un'ora.
Mettete la gelatina ad ammorbidire in una ciotolina di acqua fredda per circa 10 minuti, intanto scaldate in un pentolino il mezzo bicchiere di latte e quando la gelatina è abbastanza morbida, strizzatela bene, versatela nel latte e mescolate finché non si sarà completamente sciolta.
Versate in una grossa ciotola la ricotta, il Philadelphia, lo zucchero e la vanillina e mescolate con le fruste elettriche. Quando gli ingredienti saranno amalgamati bene, versate nella ciotola il latte con la gelatina e continuate a mescolare con le fruste fino ad ottenere un composto liscio e cremoso, a questo punto aggiungete le scaglie di cioccolato e mescolate ancora un pò per distribuirle bene.
Versate la crema nello stampo, livellate la superficie con una spatola o un coltello e rimettete la cheesecake in frigo per circa 5 ore.
Quando vedete che la crema è diventata ben solida potete togliere il dolce dallo stampo, aiutandovi con un coltello che passerete lungo il bordo, e procedere a preparare la glassa.
Spezzettate il cioccolato e scioglietelo a bagnomaria in un pentolino assieme al burro, quando è ben sciolto e cremoso, versate il composto sulla cheesecake e spalmatelo in modo unifrome (abbastanza velocemente perché si solidifica in fretta) su tutto il lato superiore del dolce; se volete a questo punto potete decorare la superficie aggiungendo una spolverata di scagliette di cioccolato, che rimarranno così ben attaccate alla glassa (vedi foto sotto). Fatto ciò, rimettete la cheesecake in  frigo per circa un ora, finché la glassa non sarà diventata solida e croccante.
Togliete il dolce dal frigo solo al momento di portarlo in tavola, poiché la crema soffre tantissimo il caldo e tende a sciolgliersi piuttosto velocemente; detto questo, buon appetito!

Summer: time for cheesecakes!

It's been a while since I last baked a cake, because Dani is on a diet; however, last night we both made an exception to the rule, during a dinner with colleagues and friends organized by his mother, for which I prepared a Stracciatella (choco chip) cheesecake!

I started using a recipe I found online long ago (unfortunately I lost the link), but while I was preparing the cream I realized that there were several errors in the doses of the ingredients, so I tried to fix them and added some more ingredients... in the end the cake came out totally different from the original recipe! However, judging by the speed with which it disappeared from plates, I got the doses and ingredients right!

For the delight of your taste, here is the revised recipe:

Ingedients for the base:

300g of Digestive biscuits or Graham's crackers (or Gran Cereale,  if you prefer a more crispy base)

100g of butter

50g of dark chocolate

Ingredients for the filling:

500g of cottage cheese

300g of Philaldelphia (both normal and light are ok)

5-6 tablespoons of granulated sugar

1/2 cup of milk (be careful not to put more than that, or else the cream will become too liquid and has to be thrown away, I speak from experience :-/)

4-5 sheets of isinglass or gelatin (depending on how big they are)

1 sachet of vanilla extract

2-3 handfuls of dark chocolate chips (you can buy them ready-made or grate a chocolate bar)

Ingredients for the frosting:

100g of dark chocolate

30g butter

1-2 handfuls of dark chocolate chips (optional)

Preparation:

Start taking a springform cake mold (diameter 24-26cm ),cut out a circle large as the base of the mold from the wax paper, then place it in the mold (you do not need to grease with butter or cover with paper also the sides of the mold, because the cream doesn't stick very much).

Melt the butter in a small saucepan, meanwhile use the mixer to crush in powder the biscuits and finely chop the chocolate, then mix them in a bowl. When the butter is completely melted, pour it on the compound of biscuits and chocolate, mix well, and when the mixture is smooth, spread it over the bottom of the mold, pressing and smoothing well with a spoon, after that, put the mold in the fridge to cool for about an hour.

Put the gelatine in a bowl of cold water for about 10 minutes, meanwhile heat the half glass of milk in a saucepan and when the gelatine is soft enough, squeeze it well, pour it in the milk and stir until it melts completely.

Take a large bowl and put in it cottage cheese, Philadelphia, sugar and vanilla and stir with an electric whisk. When the ingredients are well blended, pour the milk with the gelatine into the bowl and continue stirring with the whisk until the mixture is smooth and creamy, at this point, add the chocolate chips and stir a bit more to spread them out.

Pour the cream into the mold, level the surface with a spatula or a knife and put the cheesecake in the fridge again for about 5 hours.

When the cream is solid, you can remove the cake from the mold, passing a knife along the edge, and prepare the frosting.

Break chocolate in little pieces and melt it in a saucepan together with butter, when it is completely melted and creamy, pour the mixture over the cheesecake and spread it evenly (quickly because it solidifies quite fast) across the top of the cake; if you want you can decorate the surface by adding a sprinkling of chocolate chips, which will remain attached to the frosting (see photo above). Once you're done, put the cheesecake in the fridge for about an hour, until the icing is solid and crisp.

Remove the cake from the refrigerator only when it's time to serve it, because the cream melt rather quickly. That said, bon appetit!
